Scott Lynch

Composition

From the artist

While chasing the light … a study of the impermanent and the possible at the gulch-line. Ethereal and undefined while grounded too. Drama gleaned with minimal colour … producing this unique visual definition, this romantic composition at Scott’s Bay, Nova Scotia.

A sexagenarian and yeoman student of life, Scott Lynch is a former advertising executive passionate about photography and poetry living in Waverley, Nova Scotia. His poems have been published in the Canadian journal Open Heart Forgery and in Shorts Magazine in the UK.

As a friend once put it, if a flower is blooming, a bird is flying, a friend is smiling, or the sky is bursting with colour, Scott finds the words (and images) to capture the moment. Inspired by the world around him or by people and places, his work evokes humanity.
